Some of the changes that will be coming up in the near future include: Square Footage price added to the Statistical CMA report, mandatory names of condo/townhome complexes, new custom FAX cover sheet for email, auto creation of transaction link for Smart Trac to be used when inputting a new listing or editing (need a class to have access to this feature), Listingbook will have a single sign on once you are signed into MATRIX, multiple carts is being developed, and GEO coding for the entire CARETS area. These are some of the new features coming. Many of these new features come directly from our members. So if you have an idea that you think will enhance our system, let me know.
The merger of CalREDD into MRMLS has gone very smoothly. Their data is now being formatted to match our standards and will be available to us by the end of the year. This will give us full MLS information from areas all over the state. With the merger, there may be a name change to MRMLS. I should have that information next month.
The new Scout security program has had over 29,400 members enrolled. It will be completed soon. In September the secondary log in will be removed from the screen. If you haven’t enrolled yet when this occurs, you will be instructed how to log in until your enrolment comes up.
DOM/CDOM will be coming to us via MATRIX soon. CARETS has not yet finished developing that feature, so our MATRIX system will take the last 2 years of history and make it available to MRMLS users.
If you are an iPhone user I encourage you to look at the new SUPRA eKey adapter for iPhones. I just got one and it is so much better than using/carrying around the bulky Active Key. It will also save you some money. Check with Andrea at the TIGAR office for more information.
There are more new features coming out in the near future, but I’m running out of my allotted space, so I will save them for next month. Also watch the iDates from TIGAR to stay up on what’s coming up.
Logging out,
David Englin
